The aviation industry is composed of many jobs such as pilot, flight attendant or air traffic controllers, but there are other jobs which are pretty unknown, and very important for the functioning of the airport or an airline. One of our co-founders, Valentin Sierro had the opportunity to interview a former flight dispatcher, Vincent Grondin. Good news for Switzerland: The Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) moves forward regarding the air traffic management (ATM). The European commission has recently launched the U-Space project which Switzerland has participated in and has decided to put it in place in 2020. The European Commission estimates, that drones will represent 10 % of the aviation market in ten years. Hence the increase of drones has pushed authorities to review their laws and think about what could be done in order to offer security, safety and confidence to this industry and the population.
